Freemasons Hall, 148 High Street, Lewes, BN7 1XT.
Each year Lewes holds a Heritage Day, and on that day Lewes Masons open up the Temple for members of the public to look around and ask us any questions they may have. We are always happy to do this, to demystify what we do and to correct any misconceptions.
What you can see
The building still contains the remains of the old West Gate of the town, and an old pipe kiln in the garden. The symbolism of the items in the Temple can be explained to visitors who are not Masons. Read the history of the building.
